PHARMACOVIGILANCE

Pharmacovigilance is the scientific field of monitoring the safety of drugs and procedures in order to minimize risks and improve the therapeutic effects of their use. To achieve this, the collection and management of data related to drug safety, detection of signs of danger, and evaluation of data is required.

Information on the occurrence of adverse events comes either directly from Healthcare Professionals (Pharmacists, Physicians, Nurses) or/and through the Marketing Authorization Holders (MAHs), or from the patients themselves, through the Healthcare Professionals.

 

Adverse events can be reported in any way.

When submitting a report, please provide as much information as possible, including information on medical history, any co-administration of other medicines, as well as the dates when the medicines were taken and the adverse events occurred.
