COMPOSITION AND USE

Macrogol 3350 is the only osmotic laxative with level of evidence 1 and grade of recommendation A, recommended for the treatment of constipation by the World Gastroenterology Organization.

Izicol is used in cases of chronic and occasional constipation that may be due to pregnancy, functional bowel disorders, medication, etc.

Recommended dosage regimen for adults and children over the age of 12: 2-3 sachets daily for 5 days and then 1-2 sachets daily until intestinal function is restored.
